Yes – for Bupa OSHC members, 100% of appointment fees are covered.^
You can continue to book the same type of appointments. Online doctor appointments are best for simple medical needs, like requesting a prescription, asking for a medical certificate, or medical advice that may not need a physical consultation. Specialist appointments are not available through Blua online doctors.
Appointments are available 24/7. Standard and after-hours consultations are up to 10 minutes in duration.
To book, you will need to sign in using your Bupa digital identity. This step has been introduced to enhance security and simplify your experience. You can still book an appointment on blua.bupa.com.au, myBupa website or app, and the Blua app. Only the sign-in process has changed.
You can book an appointment with an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered doctor. AHPRA registered doctors provide general consultations. They can diagnose, treat, and refer you to other health professionals.

An IHI (Individual Healthcare Identifier) is a unique 16-digit number used to share your information with healthcare providers in Australia. You can get one in under 30 minutes through myGov.
You do not need an IHI to book an appointment, but you will need one to receive eScripts (via SMS or email).
If you don’t have an IHI, you can still receive a paper prescription, but there may be delays.
During your first appointment with Hola Health, you can ask about how to have your medical history from the previous provider transferred. This is optional.
If your test results indicate that you require a follow-up appointment, you will receive an SMS with details on how to book. You can book with any available doctor. As an OSHC member, there will be no fee for this follow-up appointment.
If your results do not require a follow-up appointment, you will receive an email with a link to your results on your Doctors on Demand dashboard.
