Ingredients
For the cakes
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 100g wholemeal flour
- 50g rolled oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 125ml water
- 50g honey
For the frosting
- 500g potatoes, peeled and chopped into 2cm pieces (can be substituted with sweet potatoes)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yoghurt
- 2 to 4 tbsp water if required
Method
For the cakes
- Preheat oven to 180°C and spray a 12-cupcake tray with oil.
- Mash bananas in a bowl. Add eggs and honey, and mix until combined.

- Spoon mixture into the cupcake tray, then bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely before adding frosting.
For the frosting
- Bring potatoes to the boil and cook for about 20 minutes or until they are over cooked and falling apart.
- Drain potatoes, then add to a bowl with yoghurt, honey and water. Mash until smooth and creamy, adding water if needed to create a frosting-like consistency.
- Transfer to a piping bag with a 1.5cm round nozzle and pipe in a swirl motion.
- Top with a bone shaped dog treat or blueberries.
